What if I move my web site, isn't MGI proprietary?

When you change hosting providers, chances are that you will have to do some re-coding of your web site. So, if you are moving from an ASP host to an MGI host or vice versa, your site would have to be re-coded the same as if you are moving from an ASP host to a Cold Fusion host.

However, MGI is sold commercially, so you would have a couple of choices if you decided to move a web site coded in MGI to another host. 1. You could move your web site to a hosting company that already supports MGI. 2. Your new host could purchase MGI and install it on the server for you.
